-Freelance lighting artist @Nowwa https://twitter.com/nowwacorp
Hi, I'm Peter and I studied in 3D Animation and Computer graphics at College de Bois-de-Boulogne (Montréal, Canada). I aspire to become a professional lighting artist for games. I strongly believe that lighting is the most crucial part of the pipeline to showcase the maximum potential of teamwork. To have a good story driven game, it needs a good lighting. My curiosity and passion for CG art will always push me to learn and master the new workflows and tools. I will always seek opportunities and challenges to keep pushing my limit as an artist.
By day I aspire to master my craft to become a lighting artist for triple-A games and by night, I yearn to create fantastic indie games as an environment artist with a bunch of cool people. As a video game enthusiast, playing triple-A games have always been a normal choice since ever, however, my passion for indie games have recently expended after participating at numerous Gamejams with talented and curious teammates. Creating an indie game is definitely a unique craft on its own which is extremely rewarding and satisfying.
I am currently actively looking for any opportunities to work. I am available on site in Montréal but I can definitely consider relocating and freelancing as well. To see my professional portfolio please visit www.petertran.art and https://www.linkedin.com/in/peterbvtran/
